Longtime area builder Tom Bozzuto was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award while Miller and Smith’s Victory Lakes homes garnered Best in Show honors as more than 1,000 builders, land planners, and architects gathered this evening at the Ritz-Carlton in Tyson’s Corner, Va., for the 45th Annual Finest for Family Living Awards. The prestigious honors go to metropolitan Washington homebuilding companies whose homes have been judged the "best of the best" for design and value by a panel of their peers. Lifetime Achievement winner Tom Bozzuto of Bozzuto & Associates, Inc., demonstrates commitment to the highest standards of the homebuilding industry, says Finest for Family Living Awards Chair Debbie Rosenstein. "Tireless efforts on behalf of the industry and setting new standards for multifamily home design are just two of Tom’s many contributions," she says. Best in Show honoree Victory Lakes in Prince William County, Virginia, features homes evoking the charm and warmth of an older, established neighborhood. Creative garage placement and stone accents create a unique and appealing streetscape. Rooms flow gracefully with grand open family spaces and cozy functional private spaces. Prices range in the mid to high $300,000s.
