Items you will need: a board (about the size of your keyboard), any hard metal, any high tension wire, a bucket and a lot of glue or something to anchor it, a mouse trap for a model, objects to catapult
You also need two people for this. Using the mouse trap as your model (this is important ’cause i’ve never done this before), anchor the hard metal to the board and make sure it is also secure and hinged. The bucket sould now be attached to the hinge. You might have to fiddle with the bucket to get it to fling the objects. Take the wire (this should be fairly stiff and hard to bend) and wrap it around the bottom portion of the metal. Make sure you wrap it properly or else it won’t work. Now, when you pull the catapult back, you should get your friend to stand on the board to make sure it doesn’t move (notice how i said your friend and not yourself because this is very dangerous!). Place the object in the bucket (this could be ANYTHING here people!) and as soon as you release the catapult yell at your friend to get his foot the fuck out of the way if he doesn’t want it crushed! This should release a very fast moving projectile!
