Today i will tell you how to turn your everyday water gun into a pretty good airsoft BB gun
BB guns and water guns both work off of the same principal: air pressure. so why not take the pressure used for shooting water from a water gun, and use it to shoot airsoft BBs’?
Materials:
1.)Super-soaker or other pump water gun. I used a Super-Soaker CPS 1200. Whatever you use, it should have a nozzel a little smaller than an aisoft BB, but be bigger that a little pin prick hole.
2.)Hot Glue gun and hot glue
3.)Airsoft BB’s
4.)Small tube of some sort. I took the stick that you use to open and close blinds, and cut it so it was a tube. It was the perfect size, but not all blind sticks are like mine. Whatever you use, it needs to be about 6 inches or longer, and the BB needs to be able to roll freely through it, but have VERY little space around it.
Procedure:
1.)Plug in your hot glue gun (duh!)
2.)Place the tube over the nozzel
3.)Put hot glue all around the tube. Put alot, because you want it to be airtight, plus Super-Soaker plastic doesnt stick to hot glue extremely well. You should have more glue than is in the picture below. Keep the tube strait while the glue is drying, so your gun is accurate
Once the glue is dried, your done!
To shoot. Load a BB into the muzzle of your gun.
Pump the gun 5-20 times (depending on your gun’s size, and how powerful you want to shoot). Aim at some thing and shoot! Be aware not to slowly squeeze the trigger, or the BB will be forced out by a little air, but will only go about 2 feet. Squeeze the trigger very fast.
Your ending product should looks some thing like this

How far will my gun shoot?
Well, that depends on how good of a fit your tube is, your guns size, and how many times you pump it. My guns power was the following:
1 pump: It shot, but not very powerful. BB traveled barely the distance of a cheap airsoft pistol
5 pumps: Shot as far as a nice airsoft pistol, with good power. Maybe a little farther even
20 pumps: It went too fast for me to see. But judging on the sound...HOLY SHIT! it bounced around in my house about 40 times. very powerful.
60 pumps: I did this outside. I shot it, lost sight of it, and never heard it land. VERY VERY VERY powerful
Please note that your make-shift airsoft gun may not be this powerful. Mine was pretty big, and had a perfect tube (barrel)
Another cool thing to do is load your gun with multiple BBs’. The most I tested it with was 5 BBs’.
It results in slightly less power, but a cool shotgun
effect.
So how does this stack up againts a real BB gun?
Although this gun is very powerful (maybe even more than a real BB gun) if done right, it isnt as good as a real BB gun. The reasons for this are than you cant point it down, because the BB will roll out of the barrel. Im sure you could find a way to stop this pretty easily. The other thing is only being single shot. But that doesnt really matter because most BB guns have to be reloaded after each shot (air rifles) or re-cocked after each shot (airsoft pistols). Also the size kinda sucks. But the good thing about it is that it looks like a regular Super-Soaker, but shoots BBs’. You could shoot people on the street if you wanted. And if you get caught, just rib the little tube off the front, and its a super-soaker again! Ita also pretty accurate. If u cant get yout hands on a real BB gun, this is probably your best alternative. It could be considered better than some real BB guns

ok, if you REALLY cant find something to use as a barrel, try using a bic pen tube. its not very good, but it will work. ideally, you want to have a little tighter of a fit around the BB. |

good egg I knew this super smart 8 year old who made one that kid made like his own mini bikes and stuff...but anyway as for your bb problem (pointing down) you should consider a whisperer. It goes on bow and arrows to keep the arrow from falling off, but the arrow passes right through it without decreasing speed. |

my friend tried using a super-soaker pistol. he told me it took alot of pumps, but it shot far. also, i have had alot of free time and made or found a bunch of cool things to shoot out of this, or a similar gun. i was thinking about making an egg of my cool ammo, but i dont feel like it unless people want me too. |

i tried and tried and tried to get my water bb gun to shoot out at a decent distance but i dont know what on earth you use to make bb bullets shoot out so fast
but i got so sick of it not working so i got the most massave super soaker you have ever seen and a perfect tube as well 5 pumps didnt get me any where 100 pumps didnt do much even 1000 pumps wasnt enough so i just decided to put it in the trash and never see it again

ok to solve the prob with the bb falling out get some electrical tape and before u glue the barrel on put small strips of the tape on the inside of ur barrel and make sure it is just enough to hold a bb...
BADA BAM when u load it push the bb into its little pocket of tape make sure its a tiny amount just enough to hold the bb or else it wont get u newhere and u have something to hold a bb without reducing the strength of ur makeshift airsoft |

although seing water guns dont let all the air out at once, i couldnt shoot the bbs more then about 15 meters
but i tried putting a bigger tube thats made out of aluminium and used the air presure to fire potatoes and that worked quite well with 600 pumps i got it almost 20 meters |

i think it would work well as a paintball gun caus of its size and also its shape. i also found out how to make it shoot out at a good enough distance from around 200 pumps because before my tube was a little too wide but now i got one thats a bit too small and so the air gets compressed even more until it has enough power to shoot the bb out. |
