Sep 29, 2009 7:48 am - The End of Summer Scorcher ..Was on Saturday. I went to it. :D It was pretty awesome, even though I knew almost none of the bands. I jumped into a couple of mosh pits for the first time. They weren’t dangerously hardcore, but still fun to slam around in. It was an awesome day. I think the only downfall was that when Sevendust came on, which was the last band, and the band that I really cared to see, my buddies were all tired and wanted to leave. I may have been out of it, but I definitely didn’t want to leave. So, a few songs into it, we left the crowd and hung around behind it all. After a couple more songs, we left the concert (They were my ride). While we were waiting in the car (because the parking lot was jammed up), I heard them playing my favorite of their songs, Face to Face. It turns out that it was the last song of the night.. It was a bit upsetting. Now that I think about it, I should have went back into the crowd while we were all just sitting around in the back. They may have been my ride, but they wouldn’t have left without me. Either way, it was a hardcore day and night. I really need to do something like that again in the future.
