If you dont know what stop frame animation is, it’s taking a picture of something, then moving the object you are taking pictures of slightly, and take another picture. Continue doing this until you have many pictures.
When all the pictures are put on a slideshow type thing and played very fast, it looks as though the object moves on its on.
This is for beginners and is pretty basic and easy to understand.
If you need any help with Movie Maker 2 message me and I will try to help.
---------------------------------------------------
For this egg I will be using Windows Movie Maker 2.
You can get this program with Windows XP Service Pack 2 upgrade free.
1) First you need many pictures of something. The more small movement pictures you have, the more realistic the video will be.
I used a bottle of visine as an example, nothing special.
These are just 4 as an example. For a video you would obviously need WAY more.
2)Open up your Movie Maker 2 and "Drag your pictures, videos, animated gifs, music, etc.. files that you will be using like the picture says.
3)Now that you have your files on the movie maker drag them down to the time line like in the picture.
4)Now that your files are in the timeline it should look like this next picture. You can click play on the video window to view what you have made so far. It will probably be shitty and slow. Very unrealistic.
5)Time to trim the timeline and speed up the video.
Place your cursor on the end edge of each file, and drag it towards the beggining. The smaller it gets means the shorter its played for.
6)Now thats a bit better but its probably still to slow. Luckily theres some effects you can fuck around with to make your video that much better.
Click the show storyboard button above the timeline.
7)Now each different file is shown in a frame instead of all together. Right click on the frames you want to adjust(for us speed up). Click video effects.
8)Select speed up double and click add.
9) Do this for each frame.
10) Now view your work in the window again and it should be much better. Still to slow? Just keep adding double speed like in step 8 to each frame.
11) Now you want to save your video? Click file and save movie file. Easy.

Nov 28, 2006 10:00 am - Yea I know theres better programs out there but this is a windows program that I know how to use pretty good and I was just sharing some basic knowledge on it.
Nov 28, 2006 10:28 am - Well I dont know why the pics wouldnt work on your computer but if you want a link I can give you one to my photobucket account so you can see them.
Theres one that I did a long time ago. But I used Stop Motion Pro 4 for it, it lets you take the pics with your web cam, and automatically renders them,so you just press enter (or p, i don’t rememba) and it’ll automatically play the movie.
