Hello fellow members of RE.
Today I am here to show how to make the most, realistic fake cards there are (or so i’ve seen).
This will be a 2 part egg.
This part shows how to make the card, and the next
will show how to do the Gold/Silver lettering, and possibly,
the hologram if I learn that part.
There are many uses you can use this for.
~*Selling Them*~
~*Trading for Real good cards*~
~*Using them (If you acctually play)*~
So enough talk, heres the How To: Fake Yu-Gi-Oh Cards.
___________________________________________________________________________________
First off you will need ...
-Crappy Cards-
-Photoshop-
-Good Printer-
-Iron-
-Tissue/Q-tips-
-Time-
___________________________________________________________________________________
Step 1.
Pour some nail polish remover in the cap,
get your tissue paper and squish up a little like so and dip it into the nail polish...
___________________________________________________________________________________
Step 2.
Scrub your Nail polish soaked tissue on the paper until you see this,
Then contiue until it looks like this.
***Make sure you don’t erase the silver/gold stamp in the bottom right corner***
___________________________________________________________________________________
Step 3.
(This is by far is the hardest part and most time consuming)
What you must do is get the printer to perfectly print Yu-gi-oh sized pictures in the bottom left corner of your paper.
This can be done with some Practice, Photoshop and Printing. (PPP)
This step does have an easier solution.
If you are printing a card off the internet you must make sure 2 IMPORTANT things.
1) The picture is extremly detailed.
2) The picture is to size.
If you use the internet, you must size the picture and use PPP.
There is an easier solution however.
If you can aqcuire the card your wishing to copy, and have a Good scanner,
then you can scan the picture in the Bottom left corner, and it will do the PPP for you.
(This saves time, so I would recommened just borrowing someone elses card if they have any).
Once this is complete, we goto the next step.
***NOTE: Make sure you "cut out" the Gold/Silver stamp in the bottom right of the card in YOUR printing picture on your computer.
___________________________________________________________________________________
Step 4.
Now that your picture is perfectly lined up on the computer,
you have to tape your blank card to the Bottom left hand corner.
***Note: Make sure your tape is covering only about 1mm of the card, BUT make sure it’s on tightly.
___________________________________________________________________________________
Step 5.
Now this is an odd step,
Heat your Iron up to it’s warmest tempature.
As it is heating up, get your computer all ready for the print so all you must do is click the print button.
Once your iron is hot, place it over the card
***NOT THE TAPE OR IT WILL MELT.
What this does, it obviously, heats the card up.
But the hotter card makes it easier to bend, makeing it able to go through the printer.
Now, quickly put your hot card & paper in the printer and print!
___________________________________________________________________________________
Your new card should look like this.
Theres only two problems with this method though.
1) The card bends when it comes out of the printer, because the printer bends the card, but you can just straighten your card out under a heavy book for about 5-10mins.
(Im not sure all cards would work in printers, because some bend the paper alot more then others).
2) Where the tape is, there is two white lines where it didn’t print on.
You have to perfectly cut these off, makeing your cards about 1mm shorter then regular cards.
___________________________________________________________________________________
And there you have it.
Here is my fake card to a real Troop Dragon card,
In person if you put the card up to light, or really closely look, (if you knew lots about cards) you could tell it was fake.
But in these pictures, this as real as it gets.
I dare you to find a better way to make fake cards then this, there isn’t any.
There is also two things great about this method.
1) The Gold/Silver stamp in the corner is there, and it’s real.
2) The back of the card is still real and perfect looking.
___________________________________________________________________________________
And thats it, Thanks for reading my egg.
Let me know if you want me to make the next part to this egg, covering the gold/silver lettering of "rare" cards.
Thanks,
Orangejuice. |

LOL, oh yea - i forgot about that :P |

 | Sep 29, 2007 8:51 am - Yeah, what’s a good non-holographic card to reproduce? |

 | Se 29, 2007 9:05 am - . Well almost all the holographic cards, without "sparkly" writing, are printed in a normal version.
So, if you sold it on ebay for example, you can send the normal version, because there still getting it and can’t complain?
or if you do however play the game....nobody would know the diffrence. |

 | Sep 29, 2007 9:31 am - 5* |

 | Sep 29, 2007 9:44 am - I mean like, with zero shiny lettering or holographic. |

 | Sep 29, 2007 10:31 am - Interesting but those cards are kinda out so.........3 stars. |

 | Sep 29, 2007 10:45 am - Instead of trimming the white area away, why not color it black with a sharpie? |

 | Sep 29, 2007 11:13 am - I cant wait to see part 2. 5* from me. |

 | Se 29, 2007 1:42 pm - 5 lmao |

 | Sep 29, 2007 3:45 pm - i dont no anyone that buys yu gi oh cards so 4* |

 | Sep 29, 2007 5:32 pm - 5*, but I have a feeling all the crazy 40 year old men who buy the cards can tell the difference. |

 | Sep 29, 2007 8:47 pm - Why would you re-print the same card, why not show it’s real (not saying it isn’t) by printing some sort of super rare card |

 | Sep 29, 2007 8:53 pm - 5 stars and favorites, great work |

 | Sep 29, 2007 9:43 pm - lol troop dragon on ebay = 10cents... with like 50 cents shipping so 60 cent... but w/e 3* |
| Sep 29, 2007 10:58 pm - ^^^Im not going to ask how you know that^^^ |

 | Sep 30, 2007 12:32 am - sell them to some 10 year old losers and make some cash, 5...
step 1"OmG, its a Dragon WTFCARES, heres $20!"
step 3 profit
buy a game with the cash(step 2 is missing as a joke) |

 | Sep 30, 2007 1:37 am - Thanks for deleting my comment Orange Juice. |

 | Sep 30, 2007 11:53 am - thats pretty cool. unlike Yugi oh but whatever floats your boat haha. 4* the method |

 | Sep 30, 2007 6:08 pm - awesome. i would probably never do this, but awesome.
5************* |

 | Sep 30, 2007 6:14 pm - meh *** |

 | Sep 30, 2007 6:34 pm - This is a very good egg. I might use this. I have some leftover cards from waay back, and a lot of gullible year sevens at school.
5* |

 | Sep 30, 2007 6:35 pm - Oh, and please do the next part. |

 | Sep 30, 2007 9:43 pm - . Highguy, two things.
One your a dumbass i didn’t delete your post.
And if you want to get that technical then you would realize,
that in your "gold" picture, the flash is off and the card isn’t as close.
and in your "silver" picture the flash is on, if you notice everything else is shiny?
so stfu. |

 | Sep 30, 2007 10:28 pm - . You know what,
I hate when people critize my work when it’s real so im not finished...
If you knew anything at all about Yugioh cards, or even owned one...
you would know that theres 3 diffretn kinds of cards with shiny in the bottom.
-Gold
-Silver
-G ld/Silver (it changes as you move the card)
now, gold/silver cards are Usually, RARE - Shineies. HOLOGRAPIC.
In no way is this card Shiny?
hmm...guess it’s not gold/silver.
Let’s contiue shall we?
Gold cards are rare,
let’s teach everyone about rare yugioh cards.
Quote:
Rare yugioh cards have shiny, "metalic" writing in the top.
Well, I guess since this card DOESN’T have shiny letters, it MUST be a common?
Well..what does that leave left?
OMG SILVER!
Guess what???
This card is SILVER.
Highguy, you obviously know nothing about Yugioh cards.
So PLEASE don’t tell fake information on my page again?
I don’t want to hear your garbage "rate this zero" anymore.
This is legit, face it.
pwned ok? |

 | Oct 01, 2007 2:44 pm -
Quote: step 1"OmG, its a Dragon WTFCARES, heres $20!" rofl yugioh also... is probably THE biggest waste of time and money since all those crappy rpgs people buy to play online :S BUT! this egg has been nutured as thought it has been breastfed by your own boy busoms...
5* for quality and such. |

 | Oct 02, 2007 1:13 pm - Lol one of my freinds is a Yu Gi Oh fanatic...just seeing this egg would piss him off greatly...*COPY ADDRESS BAR*
5* |
