Ebay is such a ripoff for both the buyer and seller. There are two FREE options:
Craig’s List You will need to google "Craig’s List" and your city name to get your local listings. The one for Denver metro is http://denver.craigslist.org/ Craig’s List lets you post items you are selling for free. I just recently found out about it. Nice way to get some ca$h with low overhead. Or buy stuff too. You can even post pictures.
http://www.freecycle.org You have to join a Yahoo group in your area. This is NOT a place you post items you are selling. This is a place where you post items you are GIVING AWAY. It is also a great place to get free stuff.
I searched the postings for this so I hope this isn’t a repeat.
May 01, 2005 8:40 pm - Craigslist is awesome...but not free....just cheap. And everyone thinks ebay is a place where you get ripped off but I have bought plenty off there and havent had anything bad happen, but maybe im just lucky.
May 01, 2005 8:53 pm - no conrads your not just lucky only retards get ripped off on eBay. Ive never been ripped of as a seller or buyer plus if anything happens example you give the seller money they dont send item eBay will riemburse you.
May 01, 2005 8:55 pm - Mostly the sellers are ripped off. They recently increaased their fees and added Ebay points crap to make up for it. I bought something a few months ago for $5 plus shipping and the a$$wipe ripped me off! They’re not too bright ripping off people $5 at a time! When I sold laptops I had every foreign dickweed out there trying to scam me out of it, "Send it to me now and I’ll pay you an extra $500" like I’m a F_@$tard or something!
May 01, 2005 11:57 pm - Ebay doesn’t always reimburse you if you don’t get the goods. Sometimes its partial and either way it takes like 4 months to happen.
