I was at my friend’s house earlier tonight for a party. About 10:00, my other friend and I decide to smoke a cigarette, so we go out on the deck and light up. We hear a car engine in the distance and it keeps getting louder. Suddenly, this car appears, and it’s fucking hauling ass, flying down the road. The road curves right before my friend’s house, so on the turn, the car just kept going straight.
It ran through three lawns across the street, the last lawn ending in a drop so the car launched off it, cleared the street, and slammed into a tree in someone elses yard. My friend and I were the only ones that saw it, so we looked at each other, did a double take, and took off to the accident. We run across the street towards the car and we see the driver sitting there, bloody, slumped forward. I called 911 as my friend knocked on the door of the house (they were watching TV; they didn’t even hear a car take out a tree in their front yard).
The car is completely totaled. All the airbags are deployed. The front bumper was wrenched off and just lay in the yard. The driver’s side door was bashed in and the windshield was cracked in three places. The wheels were bent in and the driver somehow manage to rip the rims off his car as well. It was a fucking mess.
My friend pries open the car door and helps the driver out of the car onto the curb. My friend asks him if he was drunk. The driver, 19 years old, said that he was.
Later, when the cops came, they pulled me and my friend aside to give our statements. Afterwards, the cop, who was pretty nice during this whole thing, tells us that this kid will not be getting off lightly. In addition to DUI, he’s being charged with reckless endangerment for driving across the lawns and almost slamming into the house, which he would have if the tree didn’t stop him, plus property damage charges. The owners of the house are pressing charges without a doubt. They were talking to the cops about that for about an hour.
tl;dr: Screw you, it’s a good story.

Damn, dude. That would suck so bad for the driver. His fault for being a dumbass though.

You shouldn’t of took him out of the car i don’t think, if he fucked up his spine and you took him out of the car it could of fucked up even worse without the proper equipment to get him out. Crazy shit lol

Yeah, that’s what I’ve always been told. But l3L00cl said his friend helped the driver out of the car so I’d assume he was still conscious. If he was that fucked up I doubt he’d be conscious.
