I’m thinking I might get some,I have been doing a lot of reading up on them and everything seems fine apart from the feeding.
Some say you can feed them on just mealworms and others say don’t.
If I were to feed them crickets, does this mean I have to have like a "cricket enclosure" thingy-me-bob to "Gutload" them?

Any help on this would be appreciated.

You would need a smaller tank to put all the crickets in. You can buy like 40 crickets for a dollar or 2 (USD). The extra tank doesn’t need to be big and shouldn’t cost more than 10 dollars (also USD)

My mate has a leopard gecko.

He buys crickets for like £2 for 40 or so.

They come in a little plastic box, he just keeps them in there. he has a glass case for the gecko and a red light and head mat.

Helpful?

You dont need to gut load crickets, it just makes them more nutricious. Just buy crickets from your local pet store. If you want to save money order crickets online in bulk. Just keep them in an aquarium with apple slices and shallow dish of water.

Aye Lisk I have got the Vivarium side sorted.I think i will just build my own so it fits where I want it.
It is the whole keeping crickets thing that is gonna take the persuading Sally,Fuck it took me to talk her into getting a Geko.

Do these crickets have to be alive?
How about freeze dried?

I agree with your wife. Crickets are noisy and shouldn’t be in the house. They get inside here from time to time and make a ruckus. They’re a pain to find and catch.

Why do you want to keep a poor lizard chained up it’s whole life for anyway? Let it roam free. Free I tell you.

Do you have a shed out back?
Maybe keep the crickets out there until feeding time.

Some crickets are noisy,

my friend buys these medium sized ones, they dont make that annoying sound.

Some of his got out earlier (He was messing around with them so i smacked them out of his hand) they scatter and you see his hand go flying down to squat the fuckers haha.

Hmm she isn’t to keen on it but she says aslong as I keep them out the way then...
I think I will leave crickets alone and just buy locust and mealworms.I don’t want to sit and listen to Crickets trying to get a female.
